This one-hour workshop helps non-profits understand how to practically use AI to increase impact, save time, and better use limited resources. It explains AI in simple terms, focuses on tools like ChatGPT, and shows real examples for fundraising, marketing, operations, and program delivery.
Participants complete a hands-on exercise creating an AI-generated fundraising message, explore accessible low-cost tools, and learn how to choose the right ones for their needs. The session also covers key risks like privacy and ethical use, and ends with a simple step-by-step plan to start using AI in their work within 30 days.
Chris Dore, the CEO of ScarlettNova and Rogue Ventures, as well as a Professor at Algonquin College, where he focuses on advancing practical applications of artificial intelligence, innovation, and emerging technologies. His work bridges education, entrepreneurship, and AI-driven problem-solving, helping students, businesses, and organizations better understand and adopt modern technology solutions.
With a strong passion for AI, automation, and digital transformation, Chris combines academic leadership with hands-on industry experience. He actively explores new AI tools, develops intelligent workflows, and builds systems designed to improve efficiency, creativity, and accessibility.
